Known as the Yoga of Awareness, Kundalini Yoga is a deeply transformative and nurturing practice that helps you connect with your inner sense of yourself, restore balance, and feel more empowered in daily life.

Through movement, breath-work, meditations, and the sound of the gongs, these classes support:

  • Body: building strength and flexibility at your own pace
  • Mind: clearing stress and finding stillness
  • Soul: creating space to listen to your intuition and reconnect back to yourself
  • Perspective: Jo is full of yogic philosophy and life nuggets to support you

Whether you’re brand new or have practised for years, you’ll be guided with care. All classes are welcoming and suitable for beginners. NB Not suitable for pregnant ladies and for gongs see contraindications below.

About
Jo is a KRI Level 2 (520 hours) Kundalini Yoga Teacher (Level 1 Teacher, Level 2: Conscious Communication, Lifestyles & Lifecycles, Mind & Meditation, Stress & Vitality, Authentic Relationships) with Sahej Academy – Hari Har Ji and Sat Nadar. She has been trained in the Gongs and using the Gongs for healing and kundalini yoga at an advanced level by Methab Benton. Jo has been teaching yoga and holding public gong workshops since 2017. Jo is also a spiritual/life mentor working in person and now mainly on Zoom (mentored by Barry Auchettl and Bernie Rowen-Ross), emotional freedom technique therapist (trained with Tania Prince) and a soul painter (developed herself over many years), weaving all her work with her moment by moment intuitive guidance. Jo teaches yoga with Kundalini Lotus Community a daily, free community meditation & yoga offering 365 days of the year. She also co-founded and co-runs the Scottish Kundalini Yoga Festival which began in 2024. She runs many types of workshops and events and co-runs the Soul Sister’s Retreats.

Gongs & Sound Healing with Jo

The gong is a powerful tool for deep relaxation, cellular and emotional healing, and “resetting” the mind. Many people experience better sleep, relief from stress, relief from pain or a renewed sense of clarity after a gong session.

Cointraindications: Gong relaxations are not suitable for pregnant ladies, those with a pacemaker. For those with a heart condition or any condition that may be triggered by sound please seek medical advice before attending. Hearing aids must be removed before a gong relaxation or gong ‘bath’.

🌸 Private Gong Healing Sessions

Booking details for class passes
Class passes are valid for 6 months.
There is a 24hrs cancellation notice. You may attend another class that week or receive the week’s Zoom recording (or a replacement recording) if you give notice to miss a class within 24hrs.
